Coconut laddu | Easy Evening Snacks | Indian Snacks Recipe

Coconut Laddu Recipe with video & step by step procedure. Coconut Laddo is a traditional recipe with simple ingredients. You can make this coconut Laddu with desiccated coconut or with fresh coconut.

If it is a fresh coconut then freeze it for some time and grate. then you will get a dried coconut. and the second main ingredient is condensed milk. It is Easily available in stores. If you don't have condensed milk then you can go with sugar and milk. Dilute the sugar in milk and add this to coconut.

Servings - 2
Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes


Desiccated coconut - 1 Cup
Condensed Milk - 1/4 Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 Tbsp
Ghee - 3 Tbsp
Cashews - 10
Raisins - 10
Food color pink - 1/4 tbsp (Optional)


Step 1: Heat pan and add 2 tbsp of ghee. Let the ghee melt.
Step 2: Then add grated or desiccated coconut and stir for 5 minutes in low flame. the color should not be changed.
Step 3: Once the moisture is gone from the coconut add cardamom powder and mix well.
Step 4: Then add 1/4 cup of condensed milk and mix well until they both combined well.
Step 5: Heat another pan and add 1 tbsp of ghee. Add cashews and raisins. Fry until it becomes golden in color,
The cashews and the raisins give you the extra taste and double the healthy.

Step 6: Once it becomes golden brown color add it to the coconut mixture. Mix well and cook in the low flame.
Step 7: Now add the food color and mix well. food color is optional. Here I added for the attraction and I added a natural food color.
Step 8: Once it combined well switch off the flame.
Step 9: Let it cool for sometime and make a coconut ball.
Step 10: Finally, dip the coconut ball into the desiccated coconut for extra taste and attraction.
Step 11: Tasty, healthy and easy snack is ready to eat. You can make this within a few minutes.
