Palak Paneer is a popular Indian Vegetarian recipe. Best side dish for roti, Parata, naan, rice and more. Its a celebration for paleo diet followers. Easy to make and of course mouth-watering dish. Here I with very simple steps of palak paneer recipe.
Preparation Time- 25 minutes
Spinach/palak - 250 gram
Paneer - 100 gram
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped tomato - 1 small
Garlic - 8 gloves
Ginger - 1 small piece
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
Red Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Green chili - 2
Salt - 1/2 tbsp
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Low fat cream - 2 tbsp
Step 1: Wash spinach and make them boil with little salt in a water.
Step 2: Cook it for 5 mins when the colors turn slightly dark take out and put them in a cold water to maintain the greenish.
Step 3: Take them out after 2 minutes and grind it with 4 garlic cloves, ginger piece, and green chili.
Step 4: You will get palak puree like this.
Step 5: Heat Ghee in a pan and roast the paneer for 2 minutes and keep it.
Step 6: Heat Ghee in a pan and add bay leaf and cumin seeds.
Step 8: Add 3 to 4 garlic and saute well until the raw aroma goes away.
Step 9: Now add tomato then stir and saute well till they soften.
Step 10: Add turmeric, red chili powder, and asafoetida then stir very well.
Step 11: Now add palak puree and mix it well.
Step 12: Add some water and simmer for 6 to 7 mins. Then add Garam masala and salt.
Step 13: Now add roasted paneer and stir gently and simmer on a low flame till the paneer cubes become soft and succulent.
Step 14: Finally Add Low-fat cream and Cook for about 1 minute.
Step 15: Serve delicious Palak Paneer hot.
