Laddu!! Laddu is a sweet variety, which is a famous dish all over India. It can be done in many types. Gram flour is the most common way of making Laddu. Laddu can also be prepared by using sooji(rava), sesame, multigrain, and so on. But the laddu which is made using gram flour is the famous and tastiest laddu in all. 
You Just need handful ingredients to make this yummy tasty laddu. Diwali is about to come, so I here did this laddu as my Diwali sweet. If you also wanted to make your sweet at home itself then refer the recipe from here and make yummy laddu for your festival.
Do not think that making sweets is a big thing, it is even better than making regular foods. So when you want to make something healthy and neat just go with your own preparation. Here I explained, the laddu recipe with a step by step procedure also with clear photos to make a laddu.

Servings -  2
Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes


Gram Flour - 1 cup
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Food Color - 1 pinch (Optional)
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
Cashews - 8 tp 10
Raisins - 10
Oil (or) Ghee to fry


Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, baking soda, and food color. Mix well properly.

Step 2: Add some water and make a paste like idly dosa batter. Let it be semi-liquid. Do not mix as a watery paste.

Step 3: Heat oil in a pan to make a fry. Make it heat for high temperature.
Step 4: Once the oil is ready to fry then, take a Boondi maker or plate with small holes. It should be a small hole. Add gram flour batter to the Boondi maker and shake well. 

Step 5: Let the boondi to fry well for 2 to 3 minutes. Take out and transfer to the bowl. Repeat the same for remaining batter.

Step 6: Add sugar in a cup and add 1/2 cup water and make it boil. Let the sugar syrup becomes 1 string consistency. Once it reached string consistency then switch off the flame and add to boondi bowl.

Step 7: Heat Ghee in a pan and roast the cashews and raisin for a minute. Transfer it to the boondi bowl.

Step 8: Add cardamom and mix all the other together with a spoon. Let it cool for 10 minutes.

Step 9: Don't cool completely, once it is reached handling temperature then make a rounded laddu using your hand.

Make this Laddu as your Diwali sweet and enjoy your Diwali with homemade sweet. You can prepare sweets at your home itself. It is not a big thing to do. Simple and Sweet.
