Coconut Burfi is a famous sweet variety in India. It can be done with many flavors like cashews, peanuts, and with all nuts. Here I did plain coconut burfi without adding any additional flavor. It is very easy and quick to do.
Servings - 4
Preparation Time - 5 minutes
Cooking Time - 15 minutes
Grated Coconut - 1cup
Sugar (or) Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Step 1: Heat ghee in a pan.
Step 2: Add Finely grated coconut into the pan and roast until the moisture goes away. Make sure that the color of coconut should not change. Cook it in a medium flame.
Step 3: Once the coconut is ready, add sugar and stir well.
Step 4: Cook till sugar dissolves completely.
Step 5: Apply ghee in a plate and transfer the coconut. Spread evenly and shape it.
Step 6: Once it slightly cooled, cut into desired shapes.
Very tasty Coconut Burfi is ready.
